In addition to expanding its playable game library, Proton 11 delivers a variety of bug fixes and performance improvements across multiple titles. Notable fixes include:

- Keyboard input issues in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition
- Windowed mode flickering in Chrono Trigger
- Several additional stability and compatibility enhancements

Additional Improvements in Proton 11
Beyond game-specific enhancements, Proton 11 includes several platform-wide improvements. One notable update is the fix for KDE window maximization support, helping the compatibility layer perform more reliably when used with TVs and larger displays.
Valve also addressed compatibility problems affecting EA titles running through the Wine 11-based compatibility layer. According to the release notes, a recent EA Desktop update had introduced issues that have now been resolved.

With Proton 11, Valve continues to improve the Linux gaming ecosystem by expanding compatibility, fixing long-standing issues, and enhancing overall stability. Although some users may now spend more time on alternative handheld gaming devices, official Proton updates remain significant milestones, ensuring that an even wider range of games runs smoothly across the Steam Deck and the broader Linux gaming platform.
