Former Smouha volleyball player Amir Abou El Fotouh affirmed that his journey with the club remains one of the most defining experiences of his life, not only as a sports career milestone but also as a period filled with cherished memories and genuine bonds.
Abou El Fotouh said: “We grew up in Smouha, played on its courts, and learned the true meaning of teamwork and loyalty from the very first day we wore the club’s jersey. Looking back at the old photos today, I can clearly see how the club was a second home, and how it fueled our dream to always see Smouha at its best.”
He highlighted that the most remarkable aspect of Smouha’s legacy lies in how his former teammates have now become successful coaches training new generations, while others continue as standout players achieving victories and keeping the club’s name shining.
Abou El Fotouh stressed that the values of commitment, unity, and team spirit he gained at Smouha will always remain deeply rooted in his memory and in the memory of everyone who had the honor of wearing the club’s colors.
