Renowned journalist Lobna Asal praised Egypt’s vibrant cultural scene, emphasizing that the Citadel International Music and Singing Festival serves as a powerful showcase of the country’s comprehensive strengths, extending beyond political and economic achievements to include its rich artistic and cultural contributions.
During her presentation on the program “Al-Hayat Al-Youm” on Al-Hayat TV, Asal highlighted the unique atmosphere of the festival’s 33rd edition, praising the spiritually enchanting performance of Sheikh Yassin Al-Tahami and the remarkable musical segments by Maestro Amr Selim, which captivated the audience.
She also shared details about the upcoming concert lineup, noting that artist Hesham Abbas will perform an evening of music alongside the band Cairo Café, led by musician Ali Sharaf, and a special musical group from Kazakhstan. These performances will be broadcast live on Al-Hayat TV, which continues to expand its audience both within Egypt and internationally.
