The Insurers Federation of Egypt held a specialized workshop titled “Leveraging I-Score Credit Information Services to Develop the Insurance Sector and Improve Risk Evaluation Efficiency”, on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the federation’s headquarters. The workshop falls within the federation’s strategic plan to enhance technical capabilities across the insurance market, promote professional development, and advance digital transformation within the sector.
During the session, the I-Score team delivered a comprehensive presentation demonstrating the range of smart services offered to non-banking financial institutions, including insurance companies. The presentation highlighted mechanisms for accessing verified customer credit information, contributing to fraud prevention and supporting more accurate underwriting decisions.
The workshop also explored advanced analytical tools provided by I-Score, such as credit reports, portfolio management dashboards, and behavior-based risk models — all designed to provide insurers with deeper insights when evaluating policyholders. Additionally, real-time alert platforms were introduced, enabling insurance companies to receive immediate notifications on credit or legal status changes, allowing proactive risk management and faster decision-making.
Speakers emphasized the importance of alternative data models and automated decision-support systems that help reduce default rates and increase operational efficiency across the insurance value chain.
The event aimed to strengthen cooperation between insurance companies and I-Score, encourage knowledge exchange, and expand the practical use of credit information in designing underwriting models, improving risk analysis mechanisms, and supporting digital innovation within the Egyptian insurance market.
The workshop witnessed strong participation and interaction from attendees representing various insurance entities, reflecting the industry’s growing recognition of digital data as a key pillar for the future of insurance operations.
The Insurers Federation of Egypt, established in 1953, is a non-profit professional entity representing all insurance companies licensed in the Egyptian market — currently 39 companies. The federation continues to play a vital role in modernizing insurance practices, raising professional standards, and promoting sustainable growth of the insurance and non-banking financial sectors.
