The Society of Actuaries (SOA), the world’s largest professional actuarial organization, will host its 2025 Regional Symposium at the Nile Ritz-Carlton in Cairo.
The event is organized under the patronage of the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) and in strategic partnership with the Insurers Federation of Egypt (IFE).
The symposium will bring together actuaries, insurance executives, financial experts, and academics from across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA).
This year’s theme is: “Shaping the Next Generation of Actuaries: Advancing the Profession.”
The program will open with a welcome reception on September 27, followed by two full days of sessions on September 28–29. Keynotes, panel discussions, and interactive dialogues will explore the evolving role of actuaries in addressing global challenges such as climate change, cyber risks, geopolitical conflicts, and economic uncertainty.
