Summary
The Insurers Federation of Egypt has announced the launch of the Azza Arefin Research Competition as part of the scientific program of the 7th Sharm El Sheikh Insurance and Reinsurance Rendezvous, scheduled to take place from 8 to 10 November 2025 under the theme Insurance in Light of Global Changes. The initiative aims to promote scientific research and encourage professionals in the insurance sector to present innovative insights that drive industry development. Participants’ research should address one of three main themes: managing interconnected emerging risks and the role of the insurance industry in building resilience against climate, geopolitical, and economic challenges, understanding today’s and tomorrow’s customers to design products that meet their needs, and exploring the challenges posed by artificial intelligence and digital transformation in the insurance sector.
Participation Criteria

It should not have been previously published or have won awards in other competitions. Winners of the 2024 Sharm El Sheikh Insurance Rendezvous Research Competition and employees of the Insurers Federation of Egypt are not eligible to participate. Submissions can be in Arabic or English and must be properly referenced and documented.
