The Insurers Federation of Egypt has officially announced the opening of nominations for new board membership, in accordance with the recently approved regulations issued by the General Authority for Financial Supervision under Decision No. (127) of 2025. Election Process Timeline
The Federation clarified that the election process will follow a predefined and publicly announced timeline, ensuring that the entire process is conducted with transparency and accuracy. The key stages include:

Opening Nominations: Nominations will be open for member companies of the Federation on June 22 and 23, 2025.

Submission of Nominations: Nomination submissions will be accepted starting from 12:00 PM on Monday, June 23, 2025, and will close at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

Review of Nominations: A specialized committee will begin reviewing the nominations on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, with the presence of a representative from the General Authority for Financial Supervision to ensure accuracy.

Announcement of Final List: The final list of eligible candidates will be announced on July 12, 2025.

Appeals: Candidates who are excluded will have the opportunity to appeal the decision within 5 business days. The Appeals Committee will issue its decisions within 5 business days following its formation.

General Assembly Invitation: Following the final announcement of accepted candidates, a meeting of the General Assembly will be convened within 5 business days.
