What Will Happen in Season 6, Episode 7 of Outlander?
If the teaser trailer for Episode 7, titled “Sticks and Stones,” is any indication, Outlander fans are in for a treat.
Malva Christie was discovered with her neck cut on the meadows outside The Fraser’s home at the end of Episode 6. Despite Claire’s valiant efforts to rescue her unborn child, Malva died tragically, and the programme concluded without disclosing her assailant’s name.
Fans, of course, already have their theories about who might be responsible for Malva’s murder, and those who have read Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander novels and are familiar with the killer’s identity cannot wait to see the drama unfold on screen.
But first, Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) will face charges of murder by Malva’s brother and father after she was discovered at the site with a knife in hand while gardening.
“Your wife stands before us up to her elbows in blood,” Malva’s father Tom Christie (Mark Lewis Jones) exclaims, before Malva’s brother Allan (Alexander Vlahos) adds, “With a knife!”
After all, it would make sense for Claire to be the killer, according to Tom and Allan Christie.
Prior to her death, Malva accused Jamie of fathering her child, alleging they had an affair when Claire was dying. Of course, this is not true, but gossip and stories were frequently accepted as gospel in the past, and Claire would have had a terrible time clearing her name.
