Once again, there have been rumors that the health of Egyptian veteran actress Laila Taher has declined.
Tuesday, Azza Lebeeb, an actress who resides in the same apartment complex as the renowned actress, refuted the allegations and confirmed that the venerable actress was in “great health.”
During a phone call to the “Salat El Tahrir” program, which is hosted by Azza Mustafa on the “Sada El Balad” satellite channel, Lebeeb explained that she participates in charitable or civil society meetings and also goes out with her companions to eat or attend a club. She maintains an exceptionally active social life.
“She was deeply disturbed by the rumors that were circulating about her,” she stated. “She had a major joint replacement operation two years ago, but now she walks normally and does exercise.”
Taher, an Egyptian actress, presenter, and stage performer, was born on March 13, 1942. She is most renowned for her successful partnerships with Salah Zulfikar in the realms of cinema, television, and theater.
