He was a member of The Wanted. Tom Parker died at the age of 33 because he had brain cancer.
He died peacefully this morning with all of his family by his side. His wife, Kelsey, said on Instagram: “Tom passed away peacefully this morning with all of his family by his side.” The loss of Tom has broken our hearts. He was the centre of our world, and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and lively presence.”
Afterward, he was told he had a brain tumour that couldn’t be removed. She said she and Parker’s family were “truly grateful” for the love and support he had received after that.
He is also survived by Aurelia, two, and Bodhi, one, who were born to him and his wife.
Parker was one of the five members of the Wanted, a British boy band that became one of the most popular in a generation. All Time Low, the band’s first single, went to number one in 2010. Glad You Came, their second single, came out in 2012.
Walks Like Rihanna, Chasing the Sun, Lightning, and Lightning are three of the six UK Top Five songs they had before they went on hiatus in 2014. All of them had a loud British personality that fit well with the EDM-laced pop of the time.
“Our brother”: Parker’s bandmates called him that and said, “Words can’t describe the loss and sadness we feel.” Always and always in our hearts.
In 2021, Parker starred in a documentary for Channel 4’s “Stand Up to Cancer” series. It was about him and his family as he went through cancer treatment and how they coped. In November, he said that his tumour was stable, and he was able to perform on some nights of the Wanted’s tour of UK arenas earlier this month after the group reunited in 2021. But his health quickly went downhill.
His memoir, “Hope,” will be out in July after it was announced this month. He said it was about finding hope in any situation you get into and living your best life no matter how bad things get.

Parker’s bravery, fight, and spirit will never be forgotten. Martin Kemp was one of the other people who said that.
