The “X” platform, formerly known as Twitter, is presently experimenting with introducing voice and video calling features, as confirmed by the platform’s billionaire owner, Elon Musk.
Musk commented on a post by a user named “DogeDesigner,” who explained how to activate this feature, stating that it is the initial iteration of video and audio calls on X.
As part of his plans to transform the company, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX announced the rebranding of Twitter from “Twitter” to “X” in July of the previous year.
He has repeatedly expressed his desire to transform the network into a comprehensive multipurpose application similar to “WeChat” in China, which enables users to simultaneously exchange text messages and make payments.

Currently, it appears that the option to make contacts is exclusive to subscribers of the “Blue” service, who can take advantage of privileges such as early access to new products during their testing phase.
According to a screenshot posted by “DogeDesigner” on his account, voice and video conversations allow users to enhance their messaging experience.
They may choose to use these features with their address book contacts, those they follow, and verified users.
Musk announced in August of last year that these new features would be accessible on devices operating Android, iOS, Mac, and personal computers (PCs) without a phone number.
