On Wednesday, a Saudi national campaign to support earthquake victims will be launched through the Sahem platform. Sahem is a popular app that enables users to donate money to charitable causes.
“My son lives in Turkey, and we are all shocked and devastated by the events that are unfolding so close to home and family,” said Manal Sherif, a Saudi who lives in Jeddah. “We are all shocked and devastated by the events that are unfolding so close to home and family.”
“He is also there volunteering, and we are donating to Sahem in order to assist other families and, most importantly, the children who are dealing with the aftermath of this tragedy.”
Food, shelter, and medical assistance will be provided, according to KSrelief supervisor general Abdullah Al Rabeeah, who said this in response to royal directives.
