The highly anticipated film “Bullet Train,” starring Academy Award winner Brad Pitt, has had its release date pushed back by Sony.
The action-thriller has been pushed back from July 15 to July 29, taking over the space previously occupied by Dwayne Johnson’s DC film “Black Adam.”
Because it was originally scheduled to premiere a week after the Marvel sequel “Thor: Love and Thunder,” which opens in theatres on July 8, the movie now has a little breathing room.
The script for “Bullet Train” was written by Zak Olkewicz, and the film is directed by David Leitch, who previously worked on “Deadpool 2” and “Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw.”
