The Egyptian archery team competes in the World Championship. The tournament takes place from July 31 to August 6 in Berlin, Germany.
Participation is part of the preparatory phase for the African Championship, which will be contested in Tunisia in November, and for Olympic qualification for the 2024 Summer Games in Paris.
Youssef Tolba and Ali Abdel Barr, Bahaa Amr, Nada Azzam, Rana Mamdouh, Ahmed Fakhry, and instructor Maged Mohy are members of the team.
The delegation is lead by Khaled Mehrez, the Egyptian Archery Federation’s treasurer. This is the third time that the World Archery Championships have been conducted in Germany, with 534 competitors from 80 nations competing in the current edition.
