It’s been hard for Mohamed Salah to focus on his Liverpool team because of contract talks.
Salah has had a great season for Liverpool so far, with 28 goals and 10 assists in 38 games in all competitions.
The 29-year-old has become one of the team’s most important players and was reportedly asking for around £400,000 a week in wages to stay at Liverpool.
Even though there were rumours that Liverpool wouldn’t go over their very strict salary cap, recent reports say that both sides came to an agreement.
“We did everything we could to win the African Cup of Nations, but we lost on penalties,” he said to ESPN Brazil.
Because we were fighting so hard, we made it to the last. People think we’re good. we lost on penalties as well as in qualifying for [the] World Cup.”
“Now that I’m back at the club, I have to turn the key to Liverpool’s side and focus on the team so that we can win the trophies this season.”
In my mind, I have to stay focused and concentrated. I know what I want and how skilled I am. The most important thing is to pay attention to the team. The directors are happy, and so are their friends. Everyone is happy, and I’m happy.
