Skai Jackson, a former Disney Channel star, has now joined the group of former child stars who have gone afoul of the law. TMZ has confirmed that Jackson was recently detained.
The actress, who is most known for her roles in the Disney series “Jessie” and “Bunk’d,” was detained last week on suspicion of domestic abuse, law enforcement officials say TMZ. We’ve been informed that security saw Jackson and her lover having fun, and that the actress repeatedly shoved him. This is why deputies were summoned to Universal CityWalk.
According to our sources, security recorded the fight and took the pair into custody until the police showed there.
According to our sources, Jackson and her partner denied any violent altercation; on the contrary, she said they were blissfully engaged and expecting a child together.
After watching the video, deputies claim to have seen that she shoved him. A few hours after being detained for minor domestic assault, Jackson was given a citation and released.
The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office will evaluate the case, so we’ve been informed, to see whether charges are appropriate.
Little is known about Jackson’s partner since she has decided not to post about him on social media.
We’ve contacted Jackson’s representatives for comment, but we haven’t heard back as of yet.
