The 2022 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards began off on Saturday, April 9 at Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar. At 7:30 p.m. ET, the show will air live on Nickelodeon, TeenNick, NickToons, and Nick Jr.
The slime-soaked celebration will be hosted by Miranda Cosgrove of iCarly and NFL star Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski. Kid Cudi and Jack Harlow will perform.
Numerous celebrities will also attend the ceremony, including Charli and Dixie D’Amelio, Sofia Carson, Terry Crews, Isla Fisher, Jordan Fisher, Heidi Klum, Sabrina Carpenter, Ralph Macchio, Charlie Puth, Sofia Vergara, Brie and Nikki Bella, and more.
Dr. Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States, is also scheduled to make a special appearance during the performance.
Nickelodeon fans chose the winners in categories including film, television, music, sports, and social media.
Prior to the big event, the stars took to the red, err, orange carpet to flaunt their outrageous ensembles. Miranda matched the carpet in a Celia Kritharioti citrus-colored mini-dress embellished with sparkling decorations and feathery accents and worn with metallic Voyettè shoes and Sydney Evan jewellery.
Gronk arrived in a spectacular Dolce & Gabbana bomber jacket with a cool paint drop pattern for the big night.
