Stars of “Supernatural” and “Walker” Jared Padalecki have joined the third season of CBS’s “Fire Country.”
Padalecki will have a more than one-time part in three shows. He will play Camden, a rebellious SoCal fireman with a surfer style who is a force to be reckoned with and sees Bode’s (Max Thieriot) raw talent right away.
Padalecki’s job with CBS Studios, which makes “Fire Country,” runs through the part. Padalecki was recently in the studio’s show “Walker,” which ran for four seasons on The CW with Padalecki as the lead and directing.
The one-season spinoff show “Walker: Independence,” which he helped create, also ran with his help.
Padalecki is best known for her role as Mary Jane on “Supernatural,” which ran for a long time on The CW and The WB. The show ran for 15 seasons, with Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as the main actors.
Some people have talked about Padalecki and Ackles working together again with Eric Kripke, the creator of “Supernatural,” on the Amazon show “The Boys,” where Kripke is the producer and Ackles plays Soldier Boy.
When it first aired on CBS in 2022, “Fire Country” quickly became one of the most-watched shows on the network. One sequel, “Sheriff Country,” with Morena Baccarin as the lead, has already been picked up for a full-length TV show. Padalecki works with the company, so it’s possible that his storyline in Season 3 could be used to start his own series. However, there isn’t a deal in place yet. CBS and CBS Studios wouldn’t say anything about the idea of a second branch.
The third season of “Fire Country” starts on October 18. Thieriot is the lead in “Fire Country.” Billy Burke, Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, Stephanie Arcila, Jordan Calloway, and Jules Latimer are also in the movie.
Thieriot, Tony Phelan, and Joan Rater all helped to make the show. Five people are in charge of making the show: director Tia Napolitano, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Kristie Anne Reed of Jerry Bruckheimer Television.
