Rosé from BLACKPINK has been named as PUMA’s newest global brand spokeswoman. This is another big win for her business.
The K-pop star, whose real name is Roseanne Park, was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and grew up in Melbourne, Australia. She will bring her own style and vision to PUMA’s global ads, such as the “Rewrite the Classics” program, which honors and updates the brand’s classic designs.
“I’m thrilled to become a part of the PUMA family.” Rosé said of the partnership, “I can’t wait for my fans to join me on my next journey with PUMA.”
She has an impact on many areas besides singing. Rosé’s first record as a single artist, “R,” came out in 2021 and had the huge hit “On the Ground.”
The music video for the song became the most-watched music video by a solo K-pop act in the first 24 hours. She has also won a Hanteo Music Award and a Mnet Asian Music Award. As a solo artist and with a group, she was the first artist to top the Billboard Global 200.
Rosé will style the famous PUMA Palermo in her own unique way to start off her partnership. She will also back other famous brands in PUMA’s Sportstyle category. Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Dua Lipa, and Skepta are some of the other ambassadors who have done this before her.
CEO of PUMA, aria Valdes, said this about working with the star: “Rosé’s amazing impact on music, fashion, and culture around the world is such an inspiration.” We’re excited to go on this trip with her. She will have a lot of different responsibilities, and her knowledge and creativity will help us change the way our classic space looks.
“Her unique point of view will help PUMA’s “Rewrite the Classics” program, which features brands like Speedcat and Palermo, become more well-known.” We’re excited to have her join the PUMA family and look forward to the fantastic things we can do together.
As part of its relationship with Rosé, PUMA will bring its collection of classic silhouettes to a new group of people. The PUMA Palermo is now on sale at PUMA.com, PUMA flagship shops, and some PUMA stockists. More colors will be available soon.
