EFA Spokesperson Waleed Al Atar said on Monday that Egypt’s new manager will be named on Tuesday.
EFA fired Carlos Queiroz, the head coach of the national team, because they didn’t make the World Cup.
Decision came after the Portuguese coach didn’t help the Pharaohs win a title or even make it to next year’s World Cup. Queiroz was the main reason and goal for hiring him.
Queiroz won 13 games with the national team, drew two, and lost five, two of which were in the Arab Cup.
This is what he said: “The board of directors of the EFA can look at all options.”
