“Jealousy” is Offset and Cardi B’s latest collaboration.
The duo unleashed “Jealousy” on Friday. The record, teased earlier this week, represents the couple’s latest reunion on vinyl since their multi-platinum hit “Clout,” as they take turns tossing darts at their jealous opponents.
Offset’s satire of James Brown’s 1988 CNN interview with Academy Award-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis made the tune famous. After the footage went viral, Offset and Cardi posted the song’s cover art.
The viral snapshot shows Cardi smacking Offset in front of a parked automobile. Cardi and Taraji P. Henson’s phone call teaser promoted the song.
After “2 Live” and “TBS,” Offset released “Jealously” in 2023.
In May, he mentioned his album’s features to Variety. Set included Cardi, Travis Scott, Future, Chloe Bailey, Latto, and TakeOff.
“It’s hard for me to talk about s–t right now,” he remarked during the interview about his fallen friend TakeOff. “I’ve never discussed this. Seriously. Man, discussing Take is hard. Discussing these stuff is challenging. I don’t, honestly. It hurts.”
Offset continued the talk until it became too unpleasant.
I don’t want to get in that mood. I never say certain things. He’s gone. Bro, that’s phoney. I believe it’s phoney all day. I don’t tell anyone.”
