After two mass shootings at the Sparetime Recreation bowling facility and the Schemengees Bar & Grille restaurant in Lewiston, Maine, a search is underway for US Army Reserve Robert Card.
Currently, a manhunt is ongoing for the “armed and dangerous” suspect wanted in connection with two mass shootings in Lewiston, Maine, in which up to 22 people are feared dead.
Wednesday evening at approximately 7:00 p.m., an assailant opened fire in the Sparetime Recreation bowling alley and then the Schemengees Bar & Grille restaurant.
The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office posted horrifying surveillance footage of the assailant carrying a rifle on Facebook.
As a person of interest in the shootings, 40-year-old Robert Card is currently the subject of an intensive pursuit.
Mr. Card is a member of the US Army Reserves and a certified firearms instructor. According to officials, he recently threatened to open fire on a National Guard facility and had reported mental health issues, including hearing voices.
His whereabouts are unknown at this time, but his white 2013 Subaru has been located in the city of Lisbon.
Lewiston and Lisbon residents have been urged to seek shelter indoors.
