The 2023 Eurovision Song Contest opened in a spectacular fashion on Saturday with a surprise appearance by the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton.In a musical cameo, Middleton played the piano in different scenes that were shot at Windsor Castle.
But she wasn’t the only star to make an appearance as last year’s UK entry Sam Ryder and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber also performed alongside the Kalush Orchestra, delighting the audience with a rendition of last year’s winning song Stefania.

The Duchess of Cambridge has a passion for music and Daily Mail reports that she is a talented pianist. Middleton was taught to play both the piano and flute when she was young, and her appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest has showcased her musical abilities to the world.
