Jose Mourinho, who has won the Champions League twice, has been officially announced as the new coach of Turkish team Fenerbahce on Saturday.
The Portuguese coach, who achieved victory in the Champions League with Porto and Inter Milan, has not been in charge of any clubs since his dismissal from AS Roma in January of last year.
Mourinho’s message on X read: “Greetings, Fenerbahce supporters. I look forward to meeting you tomorrow at Kadikoy as we embark on our shared journey.”
Furthermore, he substantiated the relocation when providing commentary on the UEFA Champions League final for TNT Sports.
NTV television network in Turkey has reported that Mourinho’s hiring is expected to be officially announced today.
