Summary
Kenan Mirzalolu’s presentation on ATV’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” competition was highlighted by the question of the 1915 Anakkale Bridge, whose inauguration had far-reaching ramifications in Turkey and around the world. Imirzalolu, unable to conceal his amazement at the responses, said, “I believe you did not adhere to the agenda very closely.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoan opened the 1915 anackale Bridge, which links Asia and Europe, on 18 March, anackale Victory and Martyrs’ Day.
In the ATV sensation “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” the candidate Doan Zorlu, who was posed the bridge question, also shocked the host Kenan Imirzalolu.
IN CONSEQUENCE, I USED TWO JOKERS
“Which is the ‘longest suspension bridge’ with the greatest distance between the main carrier towers?” inquires the contestant. He struggled with the question. The selections included the ‘Akashi Kaikyo Bridge in Japan,’ the ‘1915 Anakkale Bridge in Turkey,’ the ‘Yangtze River Bridge in China,’ and the ‘Golden Gate Bridge in the United States of America.
“YOU HAVE ADDED ANOTHER JOKER”
The competitor correctly utilised the’phone’ joker first, followed by the ’50 percent’ joker. Despite mirzalolu’s caution, “You have one more joker,” he was unable to provide the proper response after two jokers.
Doan Zorlu was eliminated from Who Wants To Be A Millionaire after selecting the incorrect choice D (USA/Golden Gate Bridge). Because the right answer is option B, the Anakkale Bridge of 1915.
“TURKEY’S LONGEST SUSPENDED BRIDGE”
Kenan Mirzalolu, the presenter, could not conceal his amazement at the response. “I imagine you haven’t been following the agenda very closely recently,” the famous actress observed.
Mirzalolu stated, “The distance between the two primary carrier towers is 2,23 kilometres. Dedicated to our Republic’s centennial. At a height of 318 metres, bullet replicas are located atop the towers. It was constructed in memory of Seyit Onbaş. That is why Turkey’s longest suspension bridge, the 1915 Anakkale Bridge, was built. Without our anakkale heroes, we would not have been able to build that bridge, nor would we be able to offer this competition in this studio, nor would you be able to watch it on the screen. We remember all of our martyrs with pity, appreciation, respect, and love, particularly Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.”
