Happy Easter, everyone! I hope you and your family have a lovely day, no matter what you are celebrating! The Bunny Hop has traditionally been a popular method for Disneyland to celebrate Easter in the past. This was available in a few of different configurations. Today, let’s take a look back at two different versions of the Bunny Hop that have been at Disneyland.
The Bunny Hop made its way to Main Street, USA, in 2013. Many of the Disney rabbits, as well as the Easter Bunny, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, the Dapper Dans, and other performers, made an appearance on Main Street during the celebration. This was a part of the Spring Fling celebrations at Disneyland, which were held in April. As the company made its way down Main Street, the Dapper Dans sang a number of other songs. The Bunny Hop was then performed for the visitors, who were encouraged to join in. The Easter celebration at Disneyland was a delightful and joyous way to spend the day. For the occasion, Carl Fredrickson wore his Easter Bunny ears at Disney California Adventure to help guests enjoy the holiday.
The Bunny Hop was relocated to Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree the following year, and the motif was changed to a more Western one. After a couple of years, this became known as the Springtime Roundup and would continue till today. This more laid-back approach to an Easter celebration was a lot of fun, and it had a different vibe than the usual Main Street event. The Bunny Hop was attended by a variety of personalities on a variety of days and sets. Beautifully decorated Easter eggs could be discovered all over the place at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree this year. Some of these could even be considered “Easter Eggs” for the future release of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which will take place in the area.
In recent years, the Easter Bunny has continued to make appearances on Main Street, USA, in honour of the holiday season. The Bunny Hop, on the other hand, has not made an appearance in recent years. Pluto, on the other hand, does not have Easter Bunny ears. The Bunny Hop serves as a charming reminder of a magical experience available at Disneyland.
