Gold costs stayed the same on Monday’s local markets, but the ounce went down a little on the global stock exchange because the price of the dollar went up.
Fadi Kamel, the Executive Director of the “Egypt Gold” company that trades in bullion and gold pounds, said that gold prices were stable, with a gramme of 21-karat gold going for about 2,150 pounds and an ounce going for 1958 dollars, which is a small drop.
He also said that the price of a gramme of 24 karat gold was 2457 pounds, a gramme of 18 karat gold was 1843 pounds, a gramme of 14 karat gold was 1434 pounds, and the price of a gold pound was 17200 pounds.
