The latest additions to the cast of Netflix‘s “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery” are Emmy-nominated Kerry Washington and Glenn Close, who has been nominated for an Academy Award on eight separate occasions.
They will be joined by new cast members Josh O’Connor, Cailee Spaeny, and Andrew Scott.
Craig is expected to reprise his role as the renowned detective Benoit Blanc, and Rian Johnson will return as the director.
The script was written by Johnson, who will produce it with his T-Street production company, in collaboration with Ram Bergman.
The specifics of the plot are undisclosed.
In 2022, the most recent film, Glass Onion, was released, featuring Craig reprising his role as the Blanc.
The film was released on Netflix following a record-breaking $450 million agreement for the two sequels, which are the third installment in the franchise.
The Knives Out franchise is not unfamiliar with the delivery of ensembles that are brimming with star power, and this installment appears to be no exception.
Production is scheduled to commence next month.
