George Miller Applauds Anya Taylor-Joy Furiosa Stunts
Miller said Taylor-Joy was so committed to playing Furiosa that she did most of her stunts.
Miller mentioned filming Taylor-Joy’s character jumping from a battle rig’s hood to its front seat through a windshield hole.
“I was watching it, and I saw her stunt double, Hayley, and thought, Gee, she looks a lot like Anya,” he said. Guy (Norris), second unit director and stunt coordinator, stated, ‘it wasn’t Hayley, it was Anya.’
” That happened often.”
