Egypt was named one of the greatest tourist spots to visit this spring and summer by the renowned British Daily Mail website and newspaper.
The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced on its official Facebook page that Egypt was ranked second in the Daily Mail’s list of the world’s finest tourist destinations. Under the headline “2022’s Top Vacation Destinations: Travel Trends to Watch and Places to Visit in the Spring and Summer,”
The report included a number of Egyptian tourist cities and places, including Cairo, which was defined as a “vibrant metropolis,” as well as Marsa Alam, which is a divers’ and diving enthusiast’s heaven due to its abundant marine life.
The report also included Hurghada, which it characterised as a “resort-style tourist destination near Giftun Island,” and Luxor, which it described as “a treasure mine of artefacts and the location of the ancient city of Thebes.”
Additionally, the survey noted that Egypt is one of the few tourist destinations in the world that is distinguished by the diversity of its tourism equipment, as it is blessed with spectacular natural landscapes and an old civilisation.
At the conclusion of the study, the Daily Mail urged travellers to visit Egypt this year to appreciate the country’s numerous varied tourist cities and participate in a variety of tourist activities. Additionally, it noted that this year marks the 100th anniversary of the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s unique tomb.
