On June 16th, the P4 department of the CBD project in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital organized a water activity in celebration of “Dragon Boat Festival.” The activity took the form of a collective competition, with participants divided into four teams. Over 70 individuals, including Egyptian and Chinese employees, took part in this event, with each team consisting of 15 to 20 members.
The celebration of the “Dragon Boat Festival” in Egypt is a unique event that fosters a sense of belonging and unity among foreign employees. The festivities included the organization of 10 different types of competitions, such as dragon boat racing, “zongzi” battles, dragon boat collision contests, a 50-meter swimming race round trip, a 200-meter double relay race, a 100-meter double sculling race, and more. It’s worth mentioning that the dragon boats, rowing boats, “zongzi” balloons, and other competition tools were imported from China to Egypt, allowing Egyptian employees to experience Chinese culture and strengthening the cohesion among the project team.
