According to reports from Turkey, Al Ahly is set to resume negotiations with Beşiktaş to sign Jackson Muleka, who is currently playing for the Turkish club. Last year, Al Ahly reportedly made a proposal of $2.5 million for Muleka, but Beşiktaş rejected it. However, Al Ahly has now submitted a new proposal of $4 or $5 million for the player. Beşiktaş is said to be open to the possibility of either loaning or transferring Muleka.
Furthermore, Beşiktaş’s coach reportedly does not have any plans for Muleka in the upcoming season, and the player’s salary is said to be a burden on the club. In fact, during the winter transfer window, Al Ahly proposed to sign Muleka for $3 million, after the player was recommended by Marcel Koller, the coach of Al Ahly.
As per the reports, Al Ahly is keen on finalizing the signing of Muleka by the summer.
However, Beşiktaş J.K. had previously rejected Al Ahly’s proposal during the winter transfer window, citing the need for the player’s efforts and some financial conflicts between the two clubs.
