Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram is recording a new album.
Ajram is performing in the first New El Alamein Festival in Egypt.
She met with poets and composers to write songs for her future album. Walid Saad and Tarek Madkour were composers and writers.
“Nancy 10” is Ajram’s newest album.
The May 16, 1983-born singer is one of Lebanon’s and the Arab world’s top female vocalists.
Ajram performed in various TV series as a youngster. “Mihtagalak” was Ajra’s 1998 studio debut.
Her 2003 third studio album “Ya Salam” and controversial hit track “Akhasmak Ah” brought her recognition.
Ajram was named one of the most influential Middle Eastern figures by Oprah Winfrey.
She earned the 2008 World Music Award for best-selling Middle Eastern artist, the youngest Arab WMA winner, the 2012 WMA, and the 2014 WMA.
