Iran’s Fars News Agency reported on Monday that a training plane crashed west of Tehran, killing the pilot and a university student.
The service also said that a “Teknam” training plane crashed in Karaj province, west of the Iranian capital, killing the pilot and a trained university student.
The office didn’t say why the accident happened; all they said was that they were looking into it.
The tragic news was revealed by the Director General of the Accident and Incident Investigation Office of the Civil Aviation Organisation of Iran.
Karaj is Iran’s fourth-largest city, and it is close to Tehran, which is the country’s capital.
