20th Century Studios has set a release date for “The Bikeriders,” which was written and directed by Jeff Nichols.
The New Regency is a movie that opens in theatres on December 1 and shows how the lives of the people in a Midwestern motorbike club change as it grows.
The movie “The Bikeriders” is based on a book of photographs by Danny Lyon. It stars Tom Hardy, Norman Reedus, Boyd Holbrook, Michael Shannon, Austin Butler, and Jodie Comer.
Tri-State, the company that Nichols, Sarah Green, and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones all work for, is also making films.
The fact that Amazon has set Emerald Fennell’s “Saltburn” for November 24 with an increase on December 1 is another great sign from studios that the release calendar isn’t getting wiped out and sunk. Due to the current SAG-AFTRA strike, many Oscar-bait titles are being pushed back or are TBD.
Also coming out on December 1 is the Anne Hathaway thriller Eileen, which is a speciality release from Neon.
