In a strategic move reflecting the growing economic ties between Egypt and Bulgaria, “Shonline Egypt,” headed by Eng. Sherif El Barbary, signed a cooperation protocol with the Bulgarian company Masr Let D / Mourad A M, in the city of Burgas, on the sidelines of the Egypt-Bulgaria Business Forum.
The forum, held at the headquarters of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, witnessed high-level official attendance, including George Georgiev, Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs; Dr. Sherif Farouk, Egypt’s Minister of Supply and Internal Trade; Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel El Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development; and Mr. Ahmed El-Wakil, President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce and President of the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce (ASCAME).
This cooperation aims primarily to facilitate the access of Egyptian products, particularly agricultural crops, to the Bulgarian market and subsequently to Eastern European markets, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian exports and improving the trade balance between the two countries.
