Ahmed Abdel Rahman, CEO of Post Investment Company, announced the launch of Egypt’s first dedicated microinsurance company, established in partnership with AXA under the Unified Insurance Law and supported by the National Post Authority.
During his speech at the opening session of the 4th Microinsurance Conference and the 10th Regional Conference on Insurance Inclusion (AfCII 2025), Abdel Rahman stated that the partnership aims to provide innovative insurance coverage to 12 million Egyptian families, including accident and loan insurance, through modern digital solutions.
He emphasized that Post Investment’s strategy is centered on advancing financial inclusion by investing in financial services—particularly insurance and financing solutions—that meet the needs of the Egyptian market and promote sustainable growth.
Abdel Rahman highlighted that microinsurance is not merely a financial protection tool but also a means of promoting social stability. In the absence of insurance, accidents or illnesses can cause severe financial collapse. He added that microinsurance boosts confidence in the economy and encourages low-income families to invest in new projects and improve their living standards, ultimately increasing productivity and economic stability in society.
